Orlando VA Medical Center Minority Veterans Program Hosts Veterans Town Hall and Information Seminar

ORLANDO, Fla. -- On Saturday, May 11, from noon – 3 p.m., the Orlando VA Minority Veterans Program will host a town hall meeting and informational seminar for Veterans. The seminar will have on-site representation for healthcare enrollment, disability claim filing and cemetery information. The event will be held at AMVETS Post 30, 315 Ferguson Drive, Orlando, FL 32805.

Edwin Johnson, Minority Veterans Program Coordinator, hosts these seminars in hopes to reach out to our Veterans and to keep them better informed of the benefits they are eligible to receive. “The purpose of this outreach initiative is to give information on all aspects of VA benefits to all Veterans,” said Johnson.

Veterans are instructed to bring a copy of their DD-214 form to the seminar and also encouraged to bring along their spouses.

For more information, please contact Edwin Johnson, Minority Veterans Program Coordinator, at (407) 599-1487.
